The practice provides landscape design and construction as part of a wider scope of services. Looking after the landscape side of the project is a natural extension of the design and construction of a new home or the renovation and addition of an existing one. Although this is the normal situation, the practice also offers landscape design and construction where that is the only service required.

Landscape design requires the highest degree of sensitivity. If interiors of buildings affect us so profoundly, then interiors of the outdoors, the gardens that become rooms, affect us even more. Not just romantic spaces filled with every type of natural beauty, garden rooms offer an extended stage like transition between the public and private realm. Whether the vegetation is providing shade, colour, or shape, the relaxation is undeniable. If winter makes us value summer, than a building teaches us to appreciate a garden. Landscapes large or small, partially wild, or heavily manicured, allow us the opportunity to appreciate nature on its own terms.
